600% UNLV pk   over New Mexico

Today we have a Mountain West Conference match up between

Unlv and New Mexico.  This will be the conference opener for both teams.

New Mexico is only 8-20 ATS after playing their previous game on the road.

New Mexico is only 1-7 ATS as a home underdog of 1 to 3 points.

Unlv in their first 2 games this season against Arizona and Minnesota had

a combined 5 turnovers in those losses.  The past 2 weeks in their

wins they protected the ball much better turning it over only 1 time.

The past 2 weeks they forced 4 combined turnovers.

Unlv has a potent offense.  In their first 4 games they are

averaging 73 plays per game and 384 yards on offense per game.

That's an average of 5.3 yards per play.

Unlv is 5th in their conference in total offense, while New Mexico is 11th out of 12 teams.

Two weeks ago after being down 21-0 to C.Michigan,

Unlv came back and scored 31 unanswered points to win 31-21.

After winning the past 2 weeks at home they now take that momentum

out on the road in this year's conference opener.

We Look For UNLV's Offense To Remain Explosive Today!

600% FLORIDA -13   over Arkansas

Today we have an SEC match-up where Florida has quietly gone 2-0 and 3-1 overall.

Last week Arkansas lost their conference opener against Texas A&M in a high scoring affair.

Arkansas has a strong rushing attack as they average 237 yards per game on the ground

which is 2nd in the SEC.  Last week they faced A&M who has the worst defense against the run,

as they give up an average of 215 yards per game on the ground.  Today they face the rushing defense

of Florida, which is the #1 rushing defense in the SEC and the #1 rushing defense in the country,

as they average giving up only 54 yards per game on the ground.

Florida also averages giving up less than 13 points per game, as their

overall defense is ranked 8th in the country and 1st in the SEC.

In the SEC Florida has the #1 rushing defense, #1 passing defense, #1 scoring defense, and #1 total defense.

Texas A&M however is at the bottom of the SEC in all those categories.

Arkansas is in for a rude awakening today, as they play on the road

against a very different type of defense that they faced last week.

The Hogs are one dimensional on offense, as they rank next to last

in the SEC and 105th in the country in passing offense.

If they do turn to their passing game, Florida has the #1 pass defense in the SEC.

Arkansas has racked up their impressive rushing stats against

the likes of LaLafayette, Samford, So.Miss and Texas A&M.

These are very poor rushing defenses.

On the road against Rutgers they only rushed for 101 yards.

Rutgers averages giving up only 70 yards per game on the ground.

Florida has beaten SEC Tennessee and Kentucky.

After playing Arkansas at home today, they must face in the upcoming

weeks 4 of their next 5 conference opponents away from home.

Those games will be against Lsu, Missouri, Georgia, and So.Carolina.

They can't afford to let this one slip away. Florida is 8-0 SU and 7-1 ATS versus Arkansas.

Arkansas is 0-10 ATS after playing a home game the past 2 seasons.

Florida is 17-5 ATS after allowing 75 or less rushing yards in 2 straight games.

So far this season Florida has given up on the ground 50, 50, 66, and 48 yards rushing in their 4 games.

Today The Gators Shut Down The Hogs Rushing Attack!
